How Much Should a Person Exercise?

A March article in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that women who exercised an hour a day were better able to prevent weight gain.
Researchers from Brigham Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical Scholar studied 34 000 women, mean age was 54 for 13 years. The group gained weight gained an average 5.7 lbs. Those that managed to maintain their weight (13 percent) did an hour of exercise a day with a moderate intensity.
“One hour a day is an unattainable goal,” said a working mom. “That’s frustrating. Getting that time of year, while also seeking a successful woman, caring for children, the couple … we have only two hours of sleep.”

Super busy women jumped for joy when they heard of a technique that ensured that 20 minutes of interval exercise in getting the same benefits as many hours of conventional training. Soon after came another study that was sad, women must work at least an hour a day just to maintain weight. So?
Regardless of recent studies, the most important message is to be active. How much exercise should a woman do? depends on personal goals, experts say.
According to public health guidelines, children and adolescents should get at least an hour of exercise every day and adults at least two hours and 30 minutes of moderate physical activity (such as brisk walking, dancing, gardening ) a week or an hour and 15 minutes of vigorous activity (jogging, aerobic dance, jump rope) per week.
